Still outside

Morgens lasse ich die Zeit stehen:
die Sonne scheint!
fahre mit meiner Jüngsten früh raus nach Blankenese in den Hirschpark
Ist so erfrischend (5°C später 14°C)
still

In the morning I let the time stand still:
the sun is shining!
drive with my Youngest out to Blankenese into the Deerpark matutinal
It's so refreshing
still

Nach Fütterung der Rehe (mit Kastanien und Eicheln)
und Pötte gucken
fahren wir wieder zurück:
Die Elbchaussee entlang
über die Reeperbahn
U3
an den Eisenbach

After feeding the deers (with chestnuts and acorns)
 and tub watching
we drive back:
the Elbchaussee along
across the Reeperbahn
U3
to the Eisenbach

in die Burg
(wo nur noch die Stunden angezeigt werden)
I mag die doppelte Bedeutung von 'still' im Englischen...

 Tschüß, September - Hallo, Oktober!

in the Castle
(where only hours are displayed)
I like the different meaning of 'still'...

Bye, September - Hello, October!

  2. September is leaving us with a storm of wind and rain. There is no stillness here again today! Thanks for sharing yours. Those dear little hands feeding the fawns make me smile. Until next time. xo Carole
